🧢 Newsletter Junior 14 march🧢

Dear Juniors, Dear Parents,

The competition season is fast approaching, and here is the eagerly anticipated competition schedule.

We have gathered for you all the competitions taking place in Belgium this season, along with the age and handicap (hcp) criteria required to participate. You will also find this schedule posted at the Juniors’ lounge and soon on the dedicated page in the new Juniors section, which will be available shortly on the bdgc website.

You will also be regularly informed about upcoming competitions via the Juniors’ Instagram and Facebook. We encourage everyone who has not yet followed these accounts to do so quickly.

The WhatsApp groups will also be reactivated this week, and we invite all parents who are not yet in these groups to confirm by return email (and by providing your phone numbers) their wish to be added.

We would also like the juniors of the Junior Team who have their own phones to join a dedicated group, accessible only to juniors, with the aim of allowing them to stay in touch with each other and to motivate them to come and practice and play courses outside of class hours.

Please provide us with your child’s phone number if they are part of the Junior Team and have their own phone.

Saturday Juniors Challenge

This Saturday afternoon marks the first round of the BDGC Juniors Challenge, offering our young players the chance to play 9 holes of competitive golf. This competition will contribute to an overall ranking held throughout the year, rewarding the best results at the end of the season.

The competition is open to Juniors with a handicap of 45 or lower.

Registration is available via BE-golf.be or at the club’s office.

Sunday Competitions at the BDGC

We also invite all members of the Juniors Team to register for the season’s opening prize this Sunday, March 17th. We remind you that our club hosts competitions every weekend open to all members with a handicap of 36 or lower. Juniors are more than welcome to participate in these competitions and take advantage of the opportunity to lower their handicap, win fantastic prizes, and meet new playing partners!

We rely on parents to encourage our juniors to participate in as many competitions
