Course Nature Management: Safety and Environmental Respect

Dear Golfer,

We wish to inform you that, unfortunately, next week we will be required to fell a large beech tree located next to the green of hole No. 8.
After a thorough analysis conducted by a specialist, it was determined that this tree poses a risk to the safety of players and visitors.

As compensation, five new trees will be planted elsewhere on the course. Since Drohme’s arrival, over 85 trees have already been planted on the site as part of our ongoing commitment to preserving and enhancing the natural environment.

Furthermore, we would like to inform you that, with the help of an expert, we have implemented a comprehensive tree maintenance program along with regular monitoring of the health of all trees on the site. In this way, we are doing everything possible to protect the environment and maintain the unique character of our course.

We thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,
The Brussels Drohme Golf Club Team
