Newsletter 2 October

Dear Juniors, Dear Parents,

On Sunday, 19 October, the grand “JUNIORS’ PRIZE” ⛳️ will take place—a day dedicated to your 🧢 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️ 🧢 children, but also for parents.

👉 Competition open to handicaps 45, 36 or lower: The “Three-Person Scramble” format, with each team made up of 1 Junior + 2 Adults playing 9 holes 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️, will allow each junior to play in a team with two adults. A wonderful opportunity to mix generations… and perhaps win one of the many prizes 🏆!

This year, we also want to place special emphasis on the role of parents in supporting their children’s sports practice and their involvement in the club.

With this in mind, we also invite all golfing parents to register with juniors other than their own children to encourage interaction 🤝, as well as to:

  • Allow each junior to discover different ways of playing and learning 🏌️,
  • Strengthen friendliness and team spirit within the club 🎉,
  • Encourage children’s autonomy by letting them play without the direct presence of their parents 👦👧,
  • And of course… share a beautiful intergenerational sporting experience together ⛳️💚!

Throughout the day—and during the week leading up to the competition—you will receive lots of interesting information prepared by the Belgian Golf Federations 📚🇧🇪.

👉 Competition for our young players without a handicap or with a 54 handicap: A putting contest ⛳️ & Trackman challenge 🎯 will also take place at 16:00.

The day will conclude with the prize-giving ceremony 🏅 and a friendly cocktail 🍹 at 18:00, a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a festive moment 🎉 and finish the weekend in style!

📌 Registration:

• For Juniors: directly via the BE Golf app 📲
• For the Scramble: via Calendar – Competition (C)
• For the contest: via Calendar – Activity (A)

Participation of juniors is essential and fully part of their golfing programme.
We therefore count on your support to encourage them to register 💪🙂!
